Beginner's Guide!

Each guide will get its own page next time I update because it turns out that wikis get long lol

Day 1 and what to expect

When you log in for the first time, I highly recommend making an account for the game if you’re able to. There is an existing issue where some people can’t create an account (as of September) and a few have lost their progress after the September 22 update. Therefore, it’s vital that you create an account if possible. Additionally, after the prologue you can go to the settings and link a google or facebook account (maybe an apple acct?) and that will be your new login method. Always use those options when you need to sign in if you linked them, or else it won’t find your account. You’ll also get 5 bonus batteries for linking.

Profile

In the profile screen there are a few main functions. As a brand new player, you can take the personality assessment at the bottom of the screen. It is made up of 5 questions each with three potential answers. You’ll get different results according to your answers. (I will write everything out later)

  • 1.
  • 2.
  • 3.
  • 4.
  • 5.

It’s not known yet whether or how this impacts the gameplay. You do get a few batteries from completing it.
You can also change you name and profile picture. If you change your name to certain Mystic Messenger characters, you’ll unlock trivial features. You can also change Teo’s name by using 50 batteries and his profile picture for 100 batteries. For the first couple of weeks, there will either be a smiley face or a heart between the player and Teo’s profiles. It’s unknown as of now what specifically triggers each, but from my own observations, whether or not you have a heart can impact what day you get Teo’s confession (others got it on day 14, I got it on day 15).
It’s impossible to change your birthday, but you can change your occupation as you please. You can also edit your daily schedule on this screen, but it costs $0.99 to do so.

Trivial Features

Trivial features are similar to achievements. You can unlock them through various methods including but not limited to logging in a certain number of days, changing your name, changing Teo’s name, responding to Teo in certain ways, or interacting with others on planets. There are a few guides to trivial features online. I will be posting what I get each day and how. There’s a large doc by [insert names and link] that’s pretty thorough. If someone else would like their own guides posted here, please contact me and I’ll create a list on this page.

Gallery

This is where you view Teo’s pictures. You can set them as your wallpaper upon opening the game, favorite them, or download them. They’re sorted by planet/phase. Some pictures, especially as you progress through the game, will be unavailable until you spend 5 batteries to view them. This is one feature that is overridden with the rainbow evolution and aurora package subscriptions. There are numerous players online that post these images online for players who can’t afford them. (link ppl) I will investigate how each picture can be found and record it here. I will also create a page later on showing every picture.

Milky Way Calendar

The Milky Way Calendar is where you can view chats and calls from previous days. According to the tutorial on the first day, the orbs/stars marking each day will change according to how you answered that day. I’m creating a log of what stars I got with my chat and call completions and responses. As of now, I haven’t found a strong correlation yet.

Aurora LAB

The Aurora Lab is where microtransactions can be made. There are two subscriptions to choose from: The Rainbow Package or the Aurora Evolution Package. The benefits are listed on their respective pages but I’ll add them here later anyway. There’s also the item lab, where players can buy aurora batteries, aurora creature boxes, flasks, daily pattern change and time machine tickets. The third page is the emoticon factory, where players can set the emoticon set they’d like to use. The first one (bubble emoticon) is free for the whole game, but the rest will cost $0.99 each when you complete their respective planets. The emoticons for your current planet will be automatically applied and will be free for the respective period of time.
In addition, you can watch ads to get 2 energy each, for a maximum of 5 ads and 10 energy.
The final page is labeled with your MC name and it shows you your inventory of creature boxes and batteries and stuff.

Incubator

This is where you convert energy into planet frequencies, emotions, and gifts. At level one, you're more than likely or your outputs to be entirely made up of "freedom to be bored" emotions. As you level up, your rates for producing emotions, frequencies and gifts will improve. Gifts will take up to 108 minutes to produce, so if you see your timer with an exessive time, don't worry about it being a bug. It takes 20 of one emotion to unlock their respective planets.
As for frequencies, those unlock seasonal planets that correspond with Teo's "phases." It takes 30 of one frequency to unlock its respective planet.

Infinite Universe (emotion and seasonal planets)

As of now, there are 8 planets and whatever amount of seasonal planets that correspond with Teo's phases. To access the infinite universe and get to planets, you need energy. Energy is produced when the incubator is running. This means that it's very important not to softlock yourself. When incubating energies, use more than one type at a time to avoid maxxing your inventory and getting stuck.

The normal planets are as follows:

  • City of Free Men (boredom)
  • Canals of Sensitivity (innocent)
  • Root of Desire (passionate)
  • Archive of Sentences (galactic)
  • Milky Way of Gratitude (peaceful)
  • Mountains of Wandering Humor (jolly)
  • Bamboo Forest of Troubles (philosophical)
  • Archive of Terran Info (logical)
These planets are hinted at in their respective energy's descriptions.

Seasonal Planets

Seasonal planets correspond with Teo's "phases" (easiest way to tell them apart are by his hair color). Here are the planets I'm aware of now:
  • Vanas
  • Mewry
These are what I've played through so far but I will update the list when I decide to get to it lol.
